in Las Vegas, Nevada

Building bridges across borders in business education

The participation of the Accreditation Agency Curacao (AAC) at the ACBSP Global Business Programs Conference, held from June 19–22 in Las Vegas, Nevada, provided a valuable opportunity for international exchange and collaboration in the field of higher education quality assurance and brought together educators, accreditors, and industry leaders from over 60 countries, offering a dynamic platform for dialogue, learning, and partnership.

It was a significant step toward fostering global partnerships and exchanging best practices in higher education quality assurance.

Under the theme “Bridges Across Borders” the conference focused on innovative ways to collaborate across regions, cultures, and disciplines to raise academic quality and student success. Daily networking sessions provided valuable opportunities to exchange best practices and new projects, while the Gala Dinner stood out as a social highlight, filled with engaging discussions and international team spirit.

The conference also offered an opportunity to reaffirm the growing collaboration between AAC and ACBSP. By combining AAC’s focus on institutional accreditation and ACBSP as a leader in programmatic accreditation, the partnership holds great promise for institutions seeking comprehensive, globally recognized standards and offers a more integrated approach for institutions pursuing dual accreditation and international recognition.

In this context, Bernadette Mostler, Chief Operating Officer of AAC, and Dr. h.c. Jeffrey Alderman, President and CEO of ACBSP, both expressed their shared commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.

For AAC, the conference marked a significant step forward in its mission to enhance global education through stronger partnerships and shared values.
