What membership means

Professional participation in the AI+QA ecosystem

AAC AI+QA Institute Membership is designed for institutions, organizations, companies, startups, and professionals who want to engage seriously with responsible AI use, external quality assurance, institutional governance, and trust in higher education.

Membership provides professional access to the Institute’s activities, resources, briefings, self-evaluation tools, webinars, and pathway orientation. It helps members understand how AAC’s AI+QA work connects to accreditation, validation, governance, and responsible AI implementation.

Higher Education Institutions

For universities, colleges, online universities, AI-enabled institutions, and institutions exploring AI transformation. Membership helps institutions engage with responsible AI use, quality assurance expectations, self-evaluation, and possible future orientation toward AI-Native University Accreditation.

ED

Service Providers

For AI/EdTech companies, platforms, systems, education service providers, consultants, and AI-enabled services operating in or around higher education. Membership helps service providers understand institutional trust expectations, QA language, governance boundaries, and possible future orientation toward AI+QA Validation.

AI

AI Startups

For early-stage AI and EdTech startups that need a more structured way to become institution-ready. Membership may support access to AI+QA resources, INSELECT visibility and development opportunities, and later transition toward the standard AI+QA Validation pathway when the solution is mature enough.

IP

Individual Professionals

For academics, QA experts, reviewers, consultants, AI governance specialists, higher education leaders, and other professionals. Qualified individual members may be considered for expert engagement depending on expertise, independence, availability, and AAC procedural needs.

Annual Membership Fees

AAC AI+QA Institute uses a simple annual membership fee structure: one organizational rate and one individual professional rate.

For universities, colleges, education providers, EdTech and AI providers, QA-support organizations, service providers, startups, and other institutional or organizational participants.

Individual Professional Membership

For experts, consultants, academics, reviewers, trainers, and professionals seeking professional participation in the AI+QA community.

Membership fees confirm participation in the AAC AI+QA Institute. Membership does not create formal AAC quality assurance status, accreditation, validation, approval, recognition, or endorsement. Formal review procedures remain subject to separate eligibility, application, review, fees where applicable, and decisions by the relevant AAC body.

Founding Member Opportunity

Organizations and individuals joining AAC AI+QA Institute before 30 September 2026 may receive Founding Member status.

Founding Members receive a perpetual 40% discount on all AAC services, including AI+QA Institute services and AAC institutional and program accreditation services, subject to AAC procedures, eligibility, scope confirmation, and applicable fee schedules.

Founding Member status does not guarantee candidacy, validation, accreditation, approval, recognition, endorsement, or any formal AAC quality assurance outcome. Formal outcomes require separate review procedures and AAC decisions.

AI Startup / INSELECT-linked members may use INSELECT as a market-facing development and visibility route for solutions connected to education, admissions, quality assurance, and institutional transformation. It can help startups present solutions, understand institutional readiness, and prepare for a possible later AI+QA Validation pathway when mature enough. INSELECT-linked membership is not validation, certification, accreditation, approval, recognition, endorsement, or candidacy.

Applicants may contact AAC or complete the AAC AI+QA Institute Membership Application Form. AAC reviews applications before confirming membership. Submission of the form does not guarantee admission.
