AAC recognition and affiliations

Curaçao Public Recognition

AAC has officially been recognized as an Accreditation Agency, marking a significant step in maintaining and enhancing the quality of higher education in the country. This achievement is the result of a collaboration between the government and AAC, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports.

With this recognition, the AAC is responsible for safeguarding academic quality in higher education study programs and vocational courses. The agency is authorized to assess and accredit undergraduate an d postgraduate programs, ensuring that institutions meet rigorous standards of excellence.

Both local and international higher education institutions can apply for accreditation through the AAC. According to the Higher Education Ordinance, accreditation is a key requirement for official recognition by the Ministry of Education. Anguilla Public Recognition

AAC has officially been granted the status of an authorized and recognized Quality Assurance Body (QAB) by the Ministry of Social Development and Education in Anguilla. This recognition further solidifies AAC’s role in ensuring and upholding the highest standards in higher education across the region.

With this status, Higher Education Institutions accredited by the AAC are now eligible to apply for licensing from the Ministry of Education in Anguilla. The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), based in the United States, and AAC, a nationally recognized accrediting body in Curaçao, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen their collaboration in higher education accreditation.

ACBSP, a leading non-profit accreditation association, and AAC, an independent accrediting agency, will work together to enhance educational standards worldwide. Under this partnership:
