Transparency of higher education through public quality assurance reports

The increasing interest in higher education in Europe, driven by the evolution towards a more knowledge-based society and strong competition in the labor market, has led to a surge in the number of higher education institutions (HEIs) and study programs available. However, with this expansion comes the challenge of choosing a program and institution amidst a crowded market. As a result, students and the wider public are seeking more detailed, reliable, and comparable information on the quality of individual study programs, faculties, and HEIs. In this context, Quality Assurance (QA) reports have become a vital source of reliable and comparable information, providing transparency and supporting accountability, quality improvement, and strategic ascendancy.

Following a positive certification according to AAC quality standards, accredited programs or institutions will receive the AAC Quality Seal. The results, along with the names of the reviewers and the assessment report, are published in a list for public reference.
