The Accreditation Agency Curacao (AAC) is an independent and professional accrediting agency of higher education located on the island of Curacao.

The purpose of the AAC is the promotion of quality assurance (QA) in education and professional training. The AAC has been established to accredit study programs at universities, universities of applied sciences, colleges, business schools, and higher education institutions all over the world.

The AAC also believes in the importance of equipping its staff members with the latest developments in quality assurance. Therefore Ms. Abigail Eendragt, BSc (Office Manager AAC) will be participating in the 13th European Quality Assurance Forum that will be held in Vienna, Austria.

This EQA Forum is organized by ENQA, ESU, EUA, and EURASHE, and will take place from the 15th to the 17th of November 2018, and will be hosted by the Vienna University of Economics and Business and AQ Austria.

Through a mix of plenary and parallel sessions, the 2018 EQAF, entitled ‘Broadening the scope of Quality Assurance’, will combine presentations of current developments in QA with discussions on research, policy and practice that will take place in paper sessions and workshops.

Each year EQAF provides a platform for discussion, professional development and exchange of experiences among the main stakeholders in quality assurance. Specifically, the Forum will be of interest to rectors and vice-rectors responsible for QA, QA officers in higher education institutions, students, QA agency staff and researchers working in higher education.

We are confident that this conference will bring more knowledge to the AAC staff and update them on the latest developments in QA.
The AAC: Now is the future!
