The Accreditation Agency of Curacao – the AAC – is honored to have Dr. MUHAMMAD ABDUL WAHID USMANI as our newly designated official representative in the Middle East.
Dr. Usmani is a renowned quality assurance professional from Pakistan and is currently serving as a consultant for a prominent university in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a certified program assessor and has worked in many national and international accreditation procedures.
Before joining his current assignment, Dr. Usmani served a director of the quality assurance department for Dow University of Health Sciences in Pakistan. He established this department and trained personnel in implementing quality assurance measures. He also served as a resource person for the Quality Assurance Agency of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and provided consultancy to various Pakistani Universities on program evaluation, self-study mechanisms and program outcomes.
Dr Usmani has written and presented several papers on quality assurance in national and international journals as well as conferences in the last few years. He is currently on the editorial/review panel of many international journals. He is also a regular article contributor on LinkedIn in areas pertaining to quality assurance in higher education.
